Honey Garlic Cod over Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 Trident Pubhouse Battered Alaska Cod fillets, prepared according to package instructions 

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil 

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 

  • 1/2 cup honey 

  • 1/2 cup whole-grain Dijon mustard 

  • 1/2 lemon (juiced) 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • 1/2 tsp paprika 

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 

  • Cooked white rice, for serving 

  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped cilantro, for garnish 

  • 1 lemon, sliced, for garnish 

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic in olive oil until golden and fragrant, about 1 minute. Whisk in the honey, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add the cooked Trident Pubhouse Battered Alaska Cod filets to the pan, turn them to coat with sauce. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes to make the sauce stick. 

  3. Serve the honey garlic cod over rice, garnished with cilantro and lemon slices. Enjoy!
