Ingredients

  • 2 Trident Seafoods Alaska Salmon Burgers

  • 2 slices Pepper Jack cheese

  • 1–2 jalapeños, grilled and finely sliced

  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

  • 2 burger buns

  • 2 Tbsp mayo or chipotle aioli

  • Optional toppings: red onion slices, lettuce, tomato

Directions

  1. Grill the Salmon Burgers. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook salmon burgers according to package directions, until cooked through and nicely charred. In the final minute, place a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on each burger to melt.

  2. Grill the Jalapeños. While the burgers cook, grill whole jalapeños until blistered and softened. Remove stems and finely slice.

  3. Toast the Buns. Slice the burger buns and toast them face-down on the grill for 1–2 minutes, or until golden. Spread mayo or Chipotle aioli on the cut sides.

  4. Assemble the Burgers. On the bottom bun, layer the cheesy salmon burger, grilled jalapeños, sliced avocado, and any additional toppings you like (red onion, lettuce, tomato). Top with the toasted bun.

  5. Serve Enjoy hot off the grill with your favorite side – think sweet potato fries, slaw, or grilled corn
