This Korean Sweet and Spicy Fish dish transforms crispy Trident Ultimate Fish Sticks into a bold and flavorful meal, coated in a sticky glaze made from gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. The sauce delivers the perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and tang, clinging to each golden fish stick for a mouthwatering bite. Garnished with sesame seeds and fresh green onions, it’s a quick and satisfying fusion dish that’s perfect served over rice or as a fun appetizer.
Ingredients
1 package Trident The Ultimate Fish Stick (about 12-16 fish sticks)
2 Tbsp gochujang (or chili paste)
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) or follow the package instructions to bake the Trident The Ultimate Fish Stick until golden and crispy, about 15-18 minutes. Flip halfway for even crispness.
While the fish sticks are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until smooth and well combined.
Once the fish sticks are done, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the sweet and spicy sauce over the hot fish sticks and gently toss to coat them evenly.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top for garnish. Serve immediately with steamed rice, kimchi, and your favorite vegetables. Enjoy!
