Creamy Alaska Salmon and Potato Bake

Creamy Alaska Salmon and Potato Bake

55 minutes 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 Trident Seafoods Alaska Salmon Burgers

  • 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F . In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the thinly sliced potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they are just tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Trident Seafoods Alaska Salmon Burgers according to the package instructions. Once cooked, flake the salmon burgers into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

  3. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, milk, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture starts to warm through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in half of the shredded cheese.

  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked potato slices evenly. Top with the flaked salmon burger pieces. Pour the creamy sauce over the potatoes and salmon. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the sauce is bubbling. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy!
