Captain Jac® Wild Alaska Seafood Pappardelle

Captain Jac® Wild Alaska Seafood Pappardelle


  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 12 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 2 each red chiles, minced
  • 3/4 cup minced yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 each Zest and juice of lemon
  • 6 cup cut and trimmed asparagus, 1-inch pieces
  • 6 cup Captain Jac® Flake Style Surimi Seafood 2802905802
  • 3 pound pappardelle pasta
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon crème fraiche per serving for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chive per serving for garnish


Cook pasta. Cook asparagus. In a large sauté pan heat olive oil and butter. Add garlic, chili, and onion. Salt to taste. Cook until onion is softened. Deglaze with white wine. Add cooked pasta, asparagus, surimi, and lemon zest. Coat with sauce. Finish with lemon juice. Salt to taste. Plate and garnish with crème fraiche and chives.
