As we celebrate women’s achievements today, I want to express my gratitude for all of the hard-working women who are making our business and communities become better places. Across many different roles at Trident, at our industry partners, and within science and fishery management agencies—thank you for your contributions and leadership.
This year’s International Women's Day (IWD) campaign theme of “inspire inclusion” is particularly meaningful to me. In an industry that’s been a male-dominated space, I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve found for career growth and development. In my current role leading Public Affairs for Trident, I feel a great sense of pride working for a seafood company with extraordinary women leaders throughout our global operations and support teams.
Trident’s pursuit of equality and cultivating a sense of belonging is rooted in our values: We care for each other, We pursue excellence, and We do the right thing. We are proud to join the global community in showing solidarity with this year's IWD theme to #InspireInclusion.
