Serving Suggestion
Rockfish Scampi: Rockfish Fillet sautéed to order in a rich garlic butter and white wine scampi sauce. Served over delicate angel hair pasta, garnished with coarse-ground black pepper, minced parsley and fresh lemon wedge. Accompany with crusty French bread.
Preparation and Cooking
*Cooking Instructions:
Conventional Oven : Preheat to 400 °F, cook for 9 to 10 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Convection Oven: Preheat to 350 °F, cook for 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Not intended for deep-fry applications. If product is defrosted, reduce all cook times by 25-30%. Flat Grill, Pan Fry, or Barbeque: Preheat grill to medium heat (350 °F), cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Pan Fry: In greased pan, cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
*Cooking times and temperatures may vary substantially. Internal temperature should be at least 145°F. We strive to produce a fully “boneless” product. As with all fish, however, occasional bones may still be present.
Food Safety
Keep frozen at 0°F or below until ready to use.
Thawing instructions: Remove all packaging. Place on tray or plate. Cover with a plastic wrap or wax paper and thaw in refrigerator for 16 – 24 hours.
Keep thawed product refrigerated and use within 2 – 3 days.
