The Trident Panko Breaded Tilapia 3lb box has been a delicious favorite at our house for fish dinners for a few years now. We were delighted to have finally found a seafood product that everyone in our household enjoyed. Both the texture and the flavor of the fillets are outstanding. Now, for some unknown reason, we can not find it at any of our local Chicagoland Costcos? Trident Seafood Corp. please workout whatever deal you need to with Costco to bring this exact item (#196672) back to our Costco stores.

Why is it that every time you find something that really lives up to your expectations, and many times goes beyond, it disappears? Where is this fish!!’
Trev Foley (store manager) –
hi Teresa, the Panko Tilapia should be back in Costco in February. 🙂
Tony Curro –
The Panko Breaded Tilapia has always been our favorite . We bought it at Costco. They no longer carry it, and neither does any other store in our area. We live in Brookfield, WI.
Trev Foley (store manager) –
hi Tony, The Panko Tilapia should be back in Costco in February.
Tracey –
What a wonderful Costco find! These have become a staple in our home and we buy them every week we go to Costco. The Panko gets perfectly crunchy and the tilapia is light, fresh, packed with protein and full of healthy Omega-3s. Plus, I feel confident buying Trident Seafoods products because they sustainably source their fish from the most trusted, cleanest waters.
And for those who can’t find this Panko Tilapia on your recent Costco trips, Costco told me it was a seasonal product and would most likely return for the spring and summer months. Please keep bringing this excellent product to Costco and hopefully it will one day be available all year long!
Melissa Gavelek –
These are a family favorite but we can no longer find them anywhere. We used to get them at Costco lake in the hills, IL. Even my 3 year old loves them

We bought these from Costco on a regular basis. One of our family staple meals. Now they don’t have them. I’m still in search for a good breaded fillet for the kids. Really hoping they do come back. Next time I’ll stock up in the fall.
Trev Foley (store manager) –

These are delicious, easy to prepare and low sodium. Love them. Our Costco on Norton Commons Blvd. has not had these in stock for over a month.
Jeff –
Costco, please bring this item back! We always bought at least one box per visit, haven’t seen it for months and months. I searched for other retailers on the Trident site, and I’m shocked it’s not sold anywhere near me.
Trev Foley (store manager) –
The good news is, the holes you discovered are intended to be there. They are vent holes, and are a deliberate step in the packaging process.
Edna Rosado –
It’s delicious. We love to it with vegetables or on top of a nice salad and is my favorite for tacos. I could eat this every week and not get tired of it.
Yummy Panko tilapia –
We are in Northern California and Costco is Sold Out! Please bring this amazing tilapia back!!
Chris S –
We love this 3-lb box of breaded tilapia! It’s been a Friday night staple for years in our family. We serve it sliced up with slaw for fish tacos or straight with a little sweet chili sauce. Unfortunately we cannot find this product ANYWHERE in Marin or Sonoma County, CA Costcos anymore. It came back *briefly* in April (we bought several boxes) but just like that it’s gone again. Why? I hope you can find a way to get this product back into Costco. In reading the other comments, this is a nation-wide demand signal from your customer base, with a readily available distributor you can use to get this product (back) to market. In other words, we’re all standing around trying to find ways to give you our money! Seems like a no-brainer here. What gives Trident? Oh, and if you find yourself on the phone with your Costco executive pals, ask them the same thing!
Sincerely, a loyal (but slightly disgruntled) customer
Tracey –
PLEASE BRING PANKO TILAPIA BACK TO COSTCO!!!
We love your Panko Tilapia and have bought it from Costco for years. After a few months away, we were thrilled that in briefly came back in March and April. But now Costco said that you’ve discontinued it there and we’re so upset!
Can you PLEASE bring it back to Costco stores? I’m in South Florida, but I can see from the previous comment that others around the country are missing it, too.
PLEASE BRING THIS BACK TO COSTCO as a YEARROUND ITEM and we promise to keep buying it and recommending it to everyone.
We only buy seafood from Trident and hope to get Panko Tilapia back into our Costco and our freezers.
Dennis –

This fish is great!!! Toss is the air fryer for 15 minutes and make great fish sandwiches. Question- Has it been discontinued from Costco, haven’t seen them or been able to purchase for the past few months?
Winona Johnson –
This fish is tasty and never soggy. I am so sad and disappointed that Costcos in Northern California no longer have it! I purchased it everytime but haven’t been able to find in in stocks for almost 6 months now. Where can I get PANKO CRUSTED TILAPIA? Please help! This fish is amazing and very much missed.
Winona Johnson –
This is the only frozen fish that is tasty and flakey and I love it so much! I look for it on every trip to Costco. Will it be back in Northern California Costcos in February? Please, please, please say yes!!!

Resending this comment as no change in the supply at my Costco…..please help!!
Lini Stevens –
Your panko breaded tilapia is delicious. We read about how some fish are farmed and fed and it’s disgusting. So, we are very picky. Please let us know how the farms are managed and the fish are fed. Thank you very much. September 18, 2021
Betty Oblander –
Trident Panko Tilapia is our most favorite fish for a very good meal at our house, but sense Costco has been out of it, I am in at a loss. PLEASE get Costco to restock it. I called the store and they don’t even have it on order. Does anyone else have it?
Earnest Oblander –

PLEASE help us! We ALL want this fish back in our Costco. I would buy it from anywhere but just can’t find it! This is the only breaded fish we like. It’s PERFECT! What is the story?
Robert Haseley –
Still not available at Costco in the Cleveland area. Very disappointed. This is the best breaded, frozen fish ever. I buy very few products like this. This is an exception. Your beer battered cod is good, but this is MUCH BETTER.
Patty Williamson –
Best frozen fish. Costco in Greensboro NC hasn’t had it in about a year. Can’t find it anywhere. It was not back in February like you said. All the retailers you list don’t have it either.
