General InformationAlaska Flounder is highly valued for its delicate, mild flavor and tender texture. The meat is pure white, boneless and flaky. Naturally low in fat and high in protein, Alaska Flounder is a very lean fish. It is well suited for elaborate presentations such as stuffed and rolled, as well as simple seasonings with lemon juice. IngredientsFlounder Contains: Fish (Flounder) Thawing InstructionsKeep Frozen at 0 degrees F or below. Perishable. When ready to Use:Remove All Packaging, Thaw Under Refrigeration. Maintaain Below 38 degrees F. Preparation and Cooking InstructionsRemove the product from all packaging and cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Preheat oven or grill to 350 degrees F (medium heat). From thawed, allow 10 minutes of cooking time per inch of thickness. From frozen, allow 20 minutes of cooking time per inch of thickness. Oven temperatures and cooking times may vary substantially. Test cooked fish by inserting fork at thickest part of the fillet. Fish should flake with gentle pressure, and flesh should be opaque. (Internal temperature should be at least 145 degrees F.) We strive to produce a fully “boneless” product. As with all fish, however, occasional bones may still be present.
